The 2022 Summer Intensive will include classes and seminars on every element to be considered before, during, and after auditions. The program focus is to prepare singers for the myriad of auditions they will encounter as they progress through school, summer programs, competitions, young artist programs, and early career.

 

Each participant will work with three opera professionals in both private and group settings. Due to limited participant size, the program content will be tailored to the precise needs of the students at their current progress level. In addition to voice lessons and coachings, topics covered in daily group forums will include: press kit essentials, attire, repertoire, pianist etiquette, audition mindset, and song/aria interpretation, among others.

 

The 2022 Summer Intensive will conclude with an authentic mock audition, where students will be able to apply all the tools and techniques studied during the program and receive immediate feedback.
